​German Shepherd Rescue of NY, Inc. is a Non for Profit Organization that saves German Shepherd dogs, and Shepherd blends, in need.  Most of our dogs are pulled right from death row/Euthanasia Lists.  Shelters are over crowded  and unable to keep these dogs alive, at no fault of the dog.  ​

Over population has become a horrifyingly, deadly reality!  

We receive dozens of pictures and pleas for help daily.  So many do not get their second chance at life. What we see is truly heartbreaking.  Our mission is to save lives, while also building public awareness of this tragic and horrific reality.
